We know age is only a number and, importantly, it does not define how active, mobile, or balanced each of us is individually. That's why our video programs are classified by level and not the age of the participant.
You can listen and watch more by clicking play on this video or read on below.
Our videos are short groupings of exercises, targeted especially for seniors. To make things easy, we have separated our exercise videos into three levels, so you can choose the level that is most appropriate for you. The levels are:
Level 1 – Exercises that give you the best base of support. Balance exercises in their simplest form, with straight forward strength and posture movements, along with some chair-based exercises.
Level 2 – Exercises incorporating more movement, agility, and introducing single-leg strength and balance. Some mat exercises included to further improve core exercises and stretching.
Level 3 – More challenging exercises, incorporating functional movements and multiple muscle groups to improve all-round mobility, agility, balance, and strength.
Every level uses exercise techniques to improve cognitive function and there are simple adaptations that you can make to further adapt to your own capabilities. We include modifications and progressions for most exercises.
In our experience working with seniors, it is very important that sessions are small and often; not long and infrequent. The more often the correct exercises are performed with the correct technique, the better they are executed, and generally, the better our participants feel (both physically and mentally).
If you have any questions about the suitability of our exercises, please contact us.
Although our exercises are low-resistance, there is always a risk of injury with physical activity of any kind. If you have any pre-existing conditions or concerns, please talk to your medical professional before beginning our programs.
We look forward to hearing from you at firstname.lastname@example.org.
